Looking Forward

We decided to start the New Year off with a bang, crash, flood, and a stink. We have decided that since all the bad stuff happened at the beginning of the year we should have a pretty amazing few months ahead of us. As some of you know the stink is attributed to the fringe and freezer breaking down on our Christmas break and spoiling all of food. The flood goes to the water heater dumping a pool of water all of over our laundry room. The crash goes to our poor hand-me-down couch crumpling to the floor after Brody and his girl (Vicki) and us decided to enjoy our dessert on it—or the floor. The bang was heard in rapid successions as the furnace decided to die in all its glory. Lucky for us they are all fixed now. The furnace finally happened today. It took two weeks but we got through it. Now we have a great year to look forward to. We have a wonderful blessing that the Lord has blessed us with. Brooke and I are expecting a baby this August. It just shows that there is always as glimmer of light at the end of a dark and gloomy day whether it be a star or the moon shinning on you.
